Now this was a really nice little wedding.
Of late all the weddings I had been shooting were big affairs with about 80 - 200 people at the wedding. Julie and Kevin's day was smaller, intimate and so much more relaxed. We had plenty of time on the day and started off catching the lads at Cameron House as they milled about getting ready. We then headed for one of the lodges where Julie and the girls were putting their finishing touches together. As you can see below, Julie looked absolutely amazing, as did her two daughters - the cutest and best behaved flower-girls I've ever seen.
After the civil ceremony the couple mingled with their guests before heading outside for some pictures around Cameron House......then went back inside and mingled with their guests, then nipped back outside for their groups shots. All lovely and relaxed, all calm and easy, with no rushing about or urgency. A wonderful, leisurely day with some beautiful shots, great company and a lovely couple.
As a professional you are never supposed to have favourites..........but I would shoot this wedding again tomorrow, I loved it !!! Thank you Julie and Kevin x

Cameron House Wedding - Iain & Aine
Back to Cameron House for Iain and Aine's (pro-nounced On-ya's) wedding. In an echo back to last year we started off at St Kessogs church in Balloch before making our way up to Cameron House, as we did with Jacquline and Jonathan - but the two days could not have been more different.
Iain and Aine had an absolutely stunning day for their wedding, as oppose to J&J's downpour

It was a superb day with two large families mingling in the sun, posing for pictures and generally having a great time.
As you can see from above Aine had a little trouble getting Iain's ring on his finger !! But that was the only mishap on the day. We even managed a full group of everyone at the church and got some cracking shots at the Loch side (despite the attention of the geese, again) A smashing couple who sadly, stay down south. My very best wishes to you both. In fact there is only one way to some up this couple (........right Iain?)

Legendery
In a nice little coincidence I didn't know that I was being watched at this wedding by my next bride and groom......... I'll post Julie and Kevin's wedding soon.
