29 Royal Exchange Square Wedding - Tracy & Riad

I have been really looking forward to posting this wedding.........

My first 1500 Photography wedding was for Colin and Judith - now a few years down the line I was honoured to be the photographer at Tracy's wedding (Colin's sister). The venue for the day was the rather splendid 29 Royal Exchange Square which gave us lots of scope for pictures with all its nooks, crannies and textures (which was just as well as it was typical Glasgow summer weather  - teeming down!!)

As you can see Tracy had an absolutely stunning dress and looked simply amazing. Riad looked pretty cool in his kilt and it was great to see all of Tracy's family again. I must admit that i was a little nervous about the day as Colin had got possibly one of the nicest albums I have ever produced...... till now. Dare I say Tracy's album might top it?

I better not, especially as I will be shooting Pams wedding in March.

Pam is Tracy and Colin's sister..........now that's pressure!!

Cameron House Wedding Photography – Michelle and John

Another cracking wedding at Cameron house with another top couple.

Michelle had planned out a fantastic day : she arrived at Cameron House by boat, got married to John on the lawn outside before an intimate dinner with drinks and a jazz trio entertaining.

Despite a little hiccup with the weather holding things up for 10 minutes the day was fantastic.

I cant stress how much fun John and Michelle were. I really enjoy these more smaller weddings at Cameron House which always seem much more relaxed and casual without any compromise in quality or attention. Michelle looked amazing in her dress and John was very much the dashing groom. A great day with a smashing couple. 1500 Photography

Wedding at Doonbrea House, Ayrshire – Yvette and James

What a fantastic venue for a wedding, Doonbrea House (tucked in beside Brig O’Doon) is.

When I met James and Yvette, at Doonbrea, to finalise our plans for the wedding I was taken aback by how lovely this hidden gem was. In fact – I never even knew about its existence even though its beside one of the busiest venues in Scotland!!

Yvette had planned (to me) the perfect wedding day. An intimate gathering of friends and close family, married outdoors in glorious sunshine, drinks on the lawn as a ‘Parisian’ style accordionist played, mingling with friends, a few formal shots before a relaxed dinner in the marquee……. First class!

Yvette and James were absolutely fantastic on the day and couldn’t have been easier to photograph. With Jane from Brig O’Doon keeping an eye on the proceedings and the guests all so amiable it was a terrific day that will stay with me for a while. 1500 Photography
